Swish Barrel essences are specially formulated flavorings designed to mimic the taste of premium spirit mash bills and classic and contemporary distilling styles. When combined with a neutral spirit such as vodka, moonshine, or grain alcohol, the taste can be indistinguishable from many known brands.
Essence flavors do not make an actual spirit brand or claim the spirit is from a specific region. Simply an indistinguishable flavor facsimile used to educate and entertain the consumer. Essences do NOT contain Alcohol!
Barrel age your spirits!
Age your spirits in an authentic Thousand Oaks Barrel! Mini aging barrels will accelerate the aging process due to the higher surface to alcohol ratio of the barrel and provide additional flavor notes inherent only in Top Shelf products.

Instructions:
Pour the contents of the essence packet into a 35 fl. oz. (1L) bottle or a 1 liter Thousand Oaks barrel. Fill with 26.5 fl. oz. (750 ml) of 35-40% ABV grain alcohol, neutral (unflavored) vodka, moonshine or “swish barrel” alcohol. Shake well to mix thoroughly. For best results, age to taste in a Thousand Oaks Barrel for a min 2-4 weeks. Makes approx. 27 fl. oz.(770 ml). For larger barrels increase the number of packets per the chart.
For Home Distillers..
Simply mix 1 packet of Swish Barrel Essence per 750ml of neutral spirit or moonshine in a container and mix well. For added complexity, add toasted or charred oak strips to mature the taste.
Ingredients: Natural extracts, essential oils, propylene glycol and caramel color. DOES NOT CONTAIN ALCOHOL

Start Aging
The liquor may now be consumed directly or used to flavor coffees, syrups, baked goods, confectionary or ice creams. Extract may also be for bakery emulsions and added directly to food and beverages without the addition of alcohol or sugar at a dosage rate of 1-3% by volume. Add to frostings, icings, fondants, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, donuts, muffins, pancakes, breads, desserts, ice cream, shakes, malts, protein shakes, smoothies and yogurt. As some flavors are more explosive than others. (Essences are highly concentrated and must be mixed with alcohol before the flavors to come out. You should test and decide the ratio and how explosive the flavor will be.
